For example: Favorite color, Gender, Religion, Type of Car, etc.

Ordinal data is distinguished by having ordered data. This is, data could range from 1 to 5, low to high, agree to disagree.
For example: Rank, Level of satisfaction, etc.

Interval data are numerical scales with equal intervals within data.
For example: Temperature, Tiime of day, etc.

RATIO?
Ratio is the type of data that has an absolute zero, where absence of measure exists.
For example: GPA, Amount of money, Years of work experience, etc.
