Are parametric test assumptions satisfied?
To learn more about parametric tests, see the links and videos below:
-
When there is an interval or ratio scale of measurement (approximately interval)
-
When there is random sampling from a defined population
-
When the characteristic is normally distributed in the population
-
When the population variances are equal (if two or more groups/variables in the design)
When are the assumptions
SATISFIED?
A parametric test is one that makes assumptions about the parameters (defining properties) of the population distribution(s) from which one’s data are drawn, while a non-parametric test is one that makes no such assumptions

PARAMETRIC TEST?
